About Game Train
Game Train was founded in 2016 by James and Melissa Phillips, longtime members of the local baseball community, who saw a need for dedicated indoor training space where athletes could develop year-round in a positive, supportive environment.
What began as a vision quickly became a place where families, coaches, and players gathered to train, learn, and grow. From the earliest days of build-out, captured in the original photos of the space coming to life, Game Train has always been about more than cages and turf. It’s been about community.
As we celebrate 10 years of Game Train, that original mission remains at the center of everything we do.
Since new ownership in 2023, Game Train has continued to evolve, expanding programs, improving the facility, and investing in new tools and training opportunities, while staying anchored to the core principles that made it special from the start.
The space has grown. The programs have grown. The community has grown.
What hasn’t changed is our commitment to:
-
Supporting the local youth sports community
-
Teaching the game the right way with strong fundamentals and positive coaching
-
Creating an environment where athletes feel confident, challenged, and supported
Our before-and-after photos tell the story of that growth, but the real progress shows up every day in the athletes who walk through our doors.

A Community-First Commitment
We are proud to partner with local leagues, schools, coaches, and families who share our belief that youth sports should be accessible, positive, and development-focused.
Game Train isn’t about shortcuts or pressure — it’s about progress. It’s a place where beginners are welcomed, competitive athletes are challenged, and families know their kids are being coached with care.
Looking Ahead
As we move into our next chapter, we remain committed to growing responsibly, investing in our space, and continuing to serve the community that has trusted us for the past decade.
Don’t miss the train. Get Game Trained.
